Located on Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona, Monti's La Casa Vieja provides an unforgettable setting for any occasion. Steeped in a tradition of Southwestern hospitality that dates back more than 137 years, the popular restaurant welcomes diners to a unique setting that represents an important chapter of Arizona history. The restaurant occupies an adobe hacienda that was constructed in 1871 by Tempe founder Charles Trumbull Hayden. For decades, the building served as home to the Hayden family, which dubbed it La Casa Vieja (Spanish for "The Old House"). It's the birthplace of Carl Hayden, who the Arizona Republic has named "the most important person in Arizona history."

Monti's is located along the METRO light rail, just a half block away from the rail stop at 3rd street & Mill Avenue.
